L&#8217;epoca vittoriana \u00e8 l&#8217;ambientazione perfetta per calare una storia tanto graziosa e sorprendente, in grado di accendere la fantasia dei lettori pi\u00f9 giovani, che seguiranno sicuramente rapiti gli eventi che si trova ad affrontare Emily. Ci troviamo di fronte a una protagonista estroversa, spavalda e piena di energie, che per\u00f2 si trova spiazzata di fronte a un mondo popolato da creature magiche e a cui sembra in qualche modo essere collegata. Solo ritrovando i suoi genitori potr\u00e0 capire finalmente la verit\u00e0, attraverso un viaggio che le insegner\u00e0 a essere coraggiosa e a superare a testa alta i pericoli che le ostacoleranno il cammino. I misteri sulla sua famiglia mantengono alta l&#8217;attenzione, cos\u00ec come la curiosit\u00e0 di arrivare in fondo e trovare la soluzione. Ma non si vive solo tensione, in quanto \u00e8 la meraviglia negli occhi della fanciulla che sa davvero conquistare e commuovere, per la sincerit\u00e0 e la purezza che la sua figura trasmette.
