<\/a>Fin gall. Gli stranieri bianchi che giungono dal Nord. Uno dei diversi modi con cui i vichinghi sono stati definiti, ma mai come ora questo termine assume un significato tanto prezioso. Questo perch\u00e9 intorno al nome ruota la vicenda di un importante tesoro ritrovato su una nave irlandese: una corona che di l\u00ec a poco verr\u00e0 contesa tra i Tre Regni.<\/p>\n

Thorgrim Ulfsson non pu\u00f2 rimanere indifferente di fronte a una simile bellezza, ma chi ha il diritto di tenerne possesso e il privilegio di poterla indossare? Un oggetto cos\u00ec importante pu\u00f2 rendere l’uomo che la indossa il pi\u00f9 seguito e temuto di tutti. Il desiderio di prevalere \u00e8 allettante, tanto da intraprendere una guerra dall’esito incerto.<\/p>\n

La storia de “Il tesoro dei fin gall” va gustata con molta attenzione e scrupolosit\u00e0. Concentrandosi, si pu\u00f2 iniziare a sentire sulla pelle il clima freddo dei paesi nordici, le lame cozzare tra loro durante una battaglia, il proprio sangue in gola mischiato a quello dei nemici.<\/p>\n

Non \u00e8 un libro leggero per i contenuti, ma ci\u00f2 non \u00e8 affatto un difetto. Nelson ha uno stile di scrittura diretto e preciso, nonostante un sottile velo di delicatezza che mi \u00e8 sembrato di percepire di tanto in tanto e che ha contribuito a lasciare la storia in bilico tra favola e fatti accaduti, come nei migliori dei miti.<\/p>\n

L’ambientazione \u00e8 una tra le mie preferite degli ultimi anni, chiunque ami la cultura norrena non pu\u00f2 non apprezzare questo libro, soprattutto per la fedelt\u00e0 storica dei dettagli.<\/p>\n

Il parterre di personaggi mostrati \u00e8 ricco di caratterizzazioni singolarmente originali e mai stereotipate, che definiscono con precisione colui di cui si sta parlando.<\/p>\n

Il ritmo \u00e8 costantemente incalzante, fino a lasciare senza fiato per la calcolata frenesia con cui le scene si susseguono fino all’epilogo. Nonostante questo, non si arriva stanchi o affaticati alla fine, ma anzi, bramosi di sapere come proseguir\u00e0 la saga.<\/p>\n

Per questo sono elettrizzata e impaziente per la pubblicazione del secondo libro, che promette avventure incredibili e per niente sottotono rispetto a questo primo capitolo.<\/p>\n
