Buon inizio settimana a tutti! Anche il blog The Mad Otter partecipa alla Challenge dedicata a Stephen King, una sfida libresco-fotografica creata da Clarissa di “Questione di Libri”, a cui vi indirizzo per consultare il regolamento dell’iniziativa<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Il libro protagonista di questa tappa \u00e8 “Blaze”, scritto tra il 1972 e il 1973 ma pubblicato solo nel 2007 sotto lo pseudonimo Richard Bachman e con cui King pubblic\u00f2 diverse altre opere.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/a>TRAMA: <\/b>Clayton Blaisdell Jr, detto Blaze, ha un fisico possente, \u00e8 alto pi\u00f9 di due metri e ha forza erculea, che per\u00f2 non va di pari passo con la sua intelligenza, poco pi\u00f9 che quella di un bambino. Dopo un inverno freddo e senza particolari fonti di guadagno se non i piccoli furti, l’uomo pianifica il rapimento di un neonato, cos\u00ec da vivere di rendita per tutta la vita. Il socio con il quale progetta il piano \u00e8 George, che per\u00f2 non \u00e8 niente altro che un parto della testa di Blaze, poich\u00e9 se \u00e8 vero che George \u00e8 stato un importante personalit\u00e0 nella vita dell’uomo, al momento non pu\u00f2 essere in grado di interagire realmente, perch\u00e9 defunto ormai da tre mesi. Da solo, Blaze riesce comunque a portare a termine il rapimento di Joe, il piccolo erede di una importante dinastia, aiutato da quella che lui crede la presenza invisibile di George. <\/div>\n

LA SFIDA: <\/b>In “Blaze” passato e presente si intrecciano per formare nella mente del lettore la figura controversa di Clayton che, come gi\u00e0 si evince dalla trama, arriver\u00e0 a rapire un neonato spinto dalla convinzione che l’amico George sia ancora con lui.<\/div>\n
